Appraisal contract to evaluate the mobile assets of D-H-G Knauer GmbH Kunststoffverarbeitung from Freiberg/Neckar and D-H-G Knauer GmbH Werkzeugbau from Steinbach-Hallenberg. Founded in 1985, the plastics processing and toolmaking companies produce and sell bicycle and riding helmets under the company’s own traditional brand KED. With around 120 employees, high-performance machinery and a high level of vertical integration, product development, toolmaking and helmet production all take place at the companies’ home base. From foaming the inner shell of the helmet to final assembly and the smallest injection-molded part, everything is produced under one roof. The focus is on safety, lifestyle and proprietary patented technologies. This results in outstanding products ‘made in Germany’ with the highest safety standards, value-oriented and independent of international supply chains.
