On behalf of the beneficiaries and following a detailed appraisal we first auctioned selected machinery and equipment of Electrochaea GmbH in Planegg online and are now selling the remaining lots by Private Sale on our auction platform.
The company develops and commercialises Power-to-Gas technology for producing renewable e-methane from green hydrogen and carbon dioxide. At the core of the process is a patented biomethanation technology in which methanogenic archaea act as a biocatalyst to convert CO₂ and hydrogen into grid-quality methane. The technology is modular and scalable and can be integrated with industrial CO₂ sources, biogas facilities, waste-to-energy plants and renewable energy systems. The resulting e-methane can be injected into existing gas grids, stored, transported or liquefied into eLNG. Electrochaea supports industrial applications with technology design, feasibility assessments, engineering partners, commissioning, operator training and ongoing technical support.
